The Coastal Bend's non-profit hospice since 1987.

It is with deep sadness I bring to your attention; AIM Hospice of Rockport will no longer be serving our community in the capacity of a local non-profit hospice. AIM Hospice began in Rockport 33 years ago. AIM's name is abbreviated from Mrs. Kathleen Akin, Mrs. Frances Iles & Ms. Mary Murphy. These women believed in the concept of hospice care & the right to live through a terminal illness in the dignity and comfort of your own home with friends & family. It was through their combined efforts AIM Hospice began.

As one of the few non-profit hospices on the coastal bend left, we too have succumbed to the pressure of large corporate for profit entities, an ever changing medical landscape, and of course Hurricane Harvey.

The Board of Directors wish to thank those in Rockport-Fulton, coastal bend residents and organizations who made it possible by their support, prayers and volunteer efforts for AIM Hospice to serve the coastal bend communities for over three decades.
